There are eight million stories in the Naked City and even more on the internet!  Each weekday, we’ll send you a link to a news story that you might have missed, along with one thematic audio clip to use as a thematic, funny outcue.  Completely unique! 

Your cost:  $1 per day per story

Birthdays

Almost every station does a “Birthday Bit.”  Change that generic, throw-away segment into a well-produced feature with an audio punchline.  Each weekday, we will e-mail you an audio clip from or about a celebrity who is celebrating the day of their birth.

This Day in History

The first day of Woodstock. Major League Baseball’s Opening Day.  The day Charlie Sheen went to rehab (again). All important days in American Pop Culture History.  Each weekday, we will send you an audio clip about an event on “That Day in History.”

Radio Rewind

Looking towards the future while remembering the past.  Each weekday, we will send you an audio clip from “one year in history” (1955-present) for you to use as a contest, as imaging for a historical set of music, or whatever you wish. 

Your cost:  $1 per day

We believe in working directly with you so if you wish to have a more tailor-made imaging service, based on your daily ideas and creative needs, please contact us at petecrozier@ameritech.net.

For example, you could send me the links to the stories you are discussing, and within two hours I will respond with thematic audio for you to use on the air.  Again, you pick the stories, then I go to work.  Completely exclusively to your sick, twisted brain, er, I mean your airwaves.

Or could do a more advancted feature like a written audio blog.  A weekly morning rant.  A weekly news wrap-up.  Or you could answer a listener's emailed question. 

This last concept has been one of the most popular features in the history of Chicago's WXRT/FM.  You can hear samples of this program on the What It Will Sound Like tab.

These are longer and more advanced productions.  The duration of this feature is usually 2:30-4:30.  You write a script and send it to me along with your voiced material.  I will add thematic audio and song hooks and have it in your Inbox when you arrive the following day at the station.  Truly, truly unique production.
